Letter E/Elephant Preschool Theme

Today we talked about the letter E and what goes along perfectly with the letter E?  Elephants, of course!
Visit Starfalll for the letter E activities there.
Here are a few of the activities from Confessions of a Homeschooler that we did today.
My son always enjoys doing the lacing card and he looks like he is concentrating so hard on it.
I don't have a source for this cute elephant because it was a copy I got while I was a college student.  We sang a cute elephant song with it though.

"One elephant went out to play on a spider's web one day.
He had such enormous fun he called for another elephant to come."
The song can continue on going up a number to fit your needs.  You could also put some tape on the ground to pretend it is a spider's web.
Here is a cute elephant craft with paint and a handprint.  There are some other cute elephant themed activities on this site as well.
Here is a great resource for elephant printables, crafts, and a few videos we had fun watching.

This site has  a fun collection of elephant themed books to read with your little one.

That elephant finger puppet is so cute! I also love that elephant hand print. I'm visiting from the Homeschool Creations linky party. :)
